The process begins with VIM+VAR duplex melting or ESR electroslag remelting to ensure exceptional material purity and compositional homogeneity. Multi-directional forging or heavy slab rolling is employed for breakdown to thoroughly refine the as-cast structure. The finish rolling is carried out on advanced CNC hot/cold rolling mills, complemented by precision heat treatment furnaces (solution annealing) to accurately control grain size and phase composition. The entire process is conducted in a clean environment and is equipped with a comprehensive suite of inspection instruments, including direct-reading spectrometers, ultrasonic flaw detectors, and corrosion testing equipment, ensuring that the metallurgical quality and performance of each batch of plates fully comply with international standards such as ASTM B575.
